Following the success of the Preston’s Restaurant and Bar renovations, Killington requested that a similar architectural style be used in renovating the existing three-story lobby at the Killington Grand Hotel. Serving as the hub for all guest services from the Grand Resort Hotel, the renovations are designed to impart the warmth of the mountain experience for guests and for homeowner’s association members. The lobby is anchored by a massive multi-story fire place, creating a variety of seating areas. Soft lighting, use of multi-colored and patterned carpet tiles, built-in furniture, reclaimed wood ceilings and trim, and stone wrapped columns all enhance the overall theme of the mountain lifestyle.
Upon arrival guests are greeted with an open and welcoming guest services area which is designed in three distinct kiosks. A new storefront for the Killington Grand Café was included in the renovations. Upper and lower lobbies both have distinct areas for group gatherings or quiet one-on-one settings. In addition, a small business center is available for guest use.
